What’s up my fellow digital hustlers? in today’s article, I’m going to talk about how to make money online with affiliate marketing, why affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money online for beginners, and in fact, I’m gonna show you the fastest way to start actually generating money with Clickbank in 3 simple steps.
Well, affiliate marketing can seem like a scary thing for a lot of people, especially a beginner but it’s actually really easy to do once you understand the process and the concept and how this actually works, so let’s jump into today’s article.

Before I jump straight into how you can make money with Clickbank affiliate marketing, it is crucial that you know what is affiliate marketing.

So, What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is when you promote someone else’s product for a commission, so for example, if you promote a product for a $100 and the commission is 50% you get a $50 commission, so the best thing about affiliate marketing is you don’t need your own product, you can go and find someone else’s product right now promote that and make money

Now, let’s jump into the step by step process of how you can start making money online with Clickbank.

STEP #1 –  Find A “Converting” Product on Clickbank.

So the majority of you guys that have been inside the make money online/online business world probably already have heard of Clickbank or even already have a Clickbank account, but for those that don’t know Clickbank and how does it work,

Clickbank is an Affiliate marketing network website which helps to link up product owners also known as merchants or vendors with affiliates. The company was founded in 1998 and is based in the United States. Since launching, Clickbank has grown to become one of the most popular affiliate network websites of its kind.

So the first step is sign-up and create your Clickbank account.

Once you have your Clickbank ID,now login to your Clickbank account and on top of your Clickbank dashboard go over to top page and go to the affiliate marketplace, and as you can see here, there’s a lot of digital products from pretty much any niches that you can promote inside the Clickbank marketplace.
Once you have your Clickbank ID,now login to your Clickbank account and on top of your Clickbank dashboard go over to top page and go to the affiliate marketplace, and as you can see here, there’s a lot of digital products from pretty much any niches that you can promote inside the Clickbank marketplace.

There are a lot of niches in the Clickbank marketplace that you can promote, but here are the 4 best niches that makes the most money from Clickbank. (This is based on my personal experience) The 4 best niches are:

Health and Fitness

Niches example:

  • Exercise & Fitness
  • Yoga
  • Diet & Weight loss

E-Business & E-Marketing

Niches example:

  • Affiliate Marketing
  • E-Commerce
  • SEO / PPC

Personal Development

Niches example:

  • Exercise & Fitness
  • Yoga
  • Diet & Weight loss

Software / sas

Niches example:

  • Sales Funnel Software
  • Email Marketing Service
  • Website Hosting
And for this tutorial, I’m gonna be choosing a product from the E-Business & E-Marketing category, because that’s where the make money online products are at and that’s the niche that I promote in.
So what we’re gonna be looking for now is to sort product list by gravity, of course because we want to see what’s converting what’s selling on Clickbank right now, why sort the product from gravity? Because the gravity metric is actually telling us how many affiliates that are promoting this product.
For example, the 12 Minutes Affiliate System right here. It has 107.7 gravity! Which means there’s 100+ people that promoting this product and are actually converting and making money.

Once you decide on which product you want to promote and then we can go to the next step which is Funnel & Automation

STEP#2 Funnel & Automation

So once you’ve decided which product you want to promote, the next step is to create your funnel and email automation.

So the first thing you need to have is a sales funnel builder, landing page builder or anything that can create a quick bridge-capture page. The idea of creating a bridge-capture page is to collect email addresses from the traffic that we’re going to be sending to this page and bridge them to the sales page with your affiliate link.

Why we need to collect/capture their email addresses?

So you can then follow them up with email automation, once they have signed up to your list you can pretty much promote other products and keep making money!

Now, the sales funnel builder that going to use to create the bridge-capture page is ClickFunnels, you can start your FREE 14-Day Trial here.

Why ClickFunnels? Well, ClickFunnels doesn’t just built you sales funnels, but a lot of things from landing page, squeeze page, bridge page, webinar funnel, email automation with their actionetics and so much more, if you want to learn more about ClickFunnels, you can go to my ULTIMATE ClickFunnels Review here.
After you’ve registered your ClickFunnels account, inside ClickFunnels dashboard, click build funnels.
  • Create custom funnels.
  • Name your funnel and click build funnel
and you can choose from the many templates inside your ClickFunnels account, in this tutorial I’m gonna be using “Super Clean Optin Dark”.
  • Click edit page to edit the page.
Now, you can pretty much edit the page however you like it. You can change the text, background color, button,  add any extra elements such as video testimonials or other social proof to increase the conversion rate.
For this tutorial, I’m making it very similar to the 12 Minute Affiliate sales page. From the copy, color scheme, etc.

Why so?

Aligning your copy, color, and structure throughout the entire funnel is important, and in fact, increasing your conversion rate!

now, go back to your Clickbank marketplace page and click “promote” on the right side of the product to generate your affiliate links.

And a pop-up window will show, and just click generate hopelinks.

now, copy your affiliate link from the page and then go back to your ClickFunnels page editor, now on top of your editor page, go to settings > general and then edit the on submit go to, fill it with your affiliate link and save it.

I know this is such a short and unclear tutorial, but I’m pretty sure once you get inside the ClickFunnels page editor and play around with it, you will get used to the easy & user-friendly interface. It’s one of the easiest funnel builders out there on the market.

furthermore if you want to build the funnel literally from scratch, i suggest take a look at the video below.

STEP#2 part-2

Email Automation

Now there are tons of email autoresponder out there, I personally use Activecampaign and Getresponse. I use activecampaign on most of my ClickFunnels business and Getresponse for my Clickbank, and Activecampaign doesn’t like affiliate marketing stuff offered on their platform so in this tutorial I’m gonna use Getresponse.

Yes, they’re giving a free 30-day trial, for those who are just getting started with online marketing, this is absolutely a great deal!

Now after you create your Getresponse account, this is what it will look like in your Getresponse dashboard.

First thing first, you have to connect your get response and ClickFunnels. You can watch the video on the right.

Your content goes here. Edit or remove this text inline or in the module Content settings. You can also style every aspect of this content in the module Design settings and even apply custom CSS to this text in the module Advanced settings.

Now, once you’ve connect your ClickFunnels and Getresponse, go to the list menu and create a list in your Getresponse, for this tutorial I’m gonna name it “12minutesaffiliate”.
Once you create your list, the next step is to go to the menu on top on the left, click Automation, and start your first workflow.
Click built from scratch, name your Automation and then choose subscribes as the start process (This one is important because we want to send the automation emails for those who subscribe to our list VIA the ClickFunnels page).
Now after that, you’ll be directed to this page to create your first automation workflow, go the top right of the page and click save & exit.

We need to write the autoresponder emails first then we can set the workflow later.

Once you save and exit your first Automation, go to the Automation Messages and create a draft.
Now, to get all of our email automation messages, go back to Clickbank, go the JV Page/Affiliate page of the product.
And once you’re in the JV Page/Affiliate page, click Email Swipes.
Just copy the email subject from the JV page and change the linked list to the list that you’ve created.
Now just click the next step, click start from scratch
scroll down and choose blank template.

Now once you’re in the email editor, just double click or drag & drop any elements that you want in your email. To make this really easy, I’m just gonna drag and drop the text block element.

Paste the email swipes from the JV page.

And now you want to add your Clickbank affiliate link to the email, I highlighted the “Click here to activate the system” make it bold and underline and click insert/edit link, and then paste the Clickbank affiliate link.

And now you want to add your Clickbank affiliate link to the email, I highlighted the “Click here to activate the system” make it bold and underline and click insert/edit link, and then paste the Clickbank affiliate link.

Now, what you want to do is just repeat the process, create draft, copy paste the email, and don’t forget to put your affiliate link.

And after you’ve done creating all the emails for your Automation the next step is to create the Automation workflow.

And to do that, just click your Workflow name.

Now once you’re back inside the Workflow, click the subscribe via element and go to the properties, change the select list to the list that you’ve created.

And now drag the send message and wait element to your workflow and and drag a line to both elements

And now add the automation messages that you’ve created to the send message element, just click it’ll pop out the properties tab and change the messages layout form to draft and then select the message.

And all you need to do is just repeat the process until all the emails that you’ve created are all set up on the workflow.

you can set the wait delay to 2 days, 3 and so on, I strongly recommend at least send your list a message once a week.

STEP#3 Traffic

So that’s gonna take us to step number three, we need to get the traffic to our funnel, and what we’re gonna use in this tutorial is something called solo ads.

Now, before we dive right into the solo ads, let me show you how this system works in a nutshell and briefly explaining how easy the system is.

What we do is we send people from a solo ad to the bridge page to collect the email as I explained, they opt in to the page, they go to the offer, and you can make a sale or two from the offer, if the offer is good you’ll make your money back most likely.

Now because they’re on our email list, we can then keep sending them email promoting other products, that’s where we actually making the most of our profit from this system.

The profit is from the Automation emails that you’ll keep sending after they opt in to your email list.

Have you ever heard the phrase “The money is in the list”? That’s what all this system about

Now, What is solo ads?

So for those who don’t know what solo ads are, essentially what a solo ad is you’re ordering an advertisement from someone who has a big email list.

These are people who have email lists anywhere from as little as twenty thousand people up hundred thousand people on their email list

and they’re adding new people every day to their lists through Google Ads through Bing ads and however else it is.

So where can I find someone who sells solo ads and how does it work?

Most solo ad vendors are promoting their service on this website called Udimi, some people run their solo ads off of their own websites or through different services aside from Udimi.

What is Udimi?

Udimi is basically a marketplace for solo ads vendor, the marketplace for people that has big emails list and want to sell clicks from their email list.

Now, click the button on the right to register your Udimi account.

After you login to your account dahsboard, go over to Find Sellers.

And in this Find Sellers page, you will be provided with many solo ad vendors from multiple different niches with a different rate per clicks.

And you can also sort the vendor list with metrics like sales, niche, price, got sales.

What I’ve seen and eperience my self to get the best clicks that also converting from Udimi sellers is to sort it by sales and then change the “got sales” metric to 30% or more.

And you can actually click on these people and see how much they charge per clicks and their traffic quality.

For example, let’s take a look at Mr. Brandon Sean here.

Brandon charges $0,65 per click with a 58% sales rate, which will cost you $133 to get 200 clicks to your bridge page. It might sound expensive but it’s actually one of the cheapest ways to get traffic, we’ll crunch some numbers later on and see why I consider solo ad is one of the best and cheapest way to get traffic to your offer.

And you can scroll down to see the details of the traffic he provides and also testimonials from all his previous clients.

So the last step to make the system work is to order some clicks from Udimi.

You just have to put your ClickFunnels bridge page link here and add to cart.

Now let me shortly explain why the solo ad is your best bet to get targeted traffic to your offer.

So let’s compare the solo ad with AdWords. let say you want to run AdWords campaign to get 200 clicks to your bridge page and let’s see how much is the cost per click for “make money online” keyword”.

As you can see, the cost per click is $1.42, it’ll cost you $284 to get 200 clicks to your link. now, 200 clicks solo ad run cost just $133, which is way cheaper, the good part about this is you’re getting traffic from people that are actually interested in making money online!

So if we purchase a 100 clicks at $65, most of the times they’re sending more clicks, I usually get around 110-120 clicks.

Now let’s say out of those 100 clicks, 40% give us an email that’s 40 emails and now out of 40, all we need is 2 sales at $58 that’s it!

so if we get 2 purchases of that product and you get $113 commission, $65 of that is paid for your ads and you have $50 profit now.

do you think you can get 2 people to buy out of 40?

The chances are pretty high because 40 is a lot of people to get to your offer out of a hundred.

but not only that, you’re actually building up an email list as well as you can keep promoting offers via email marketing, that’s one of the most valuable things here.

Even if I was spending $200 and only made 50$ back, I wouldn’t care because I’m building up an email list.

And once we have that big email list, let us just say you already got 1000 lists, now let’s say you want to promote a $297 product, then you send them all the automation promo emails, and only 3% of them converted.

That’s a $8.910 from one single automation!

Imagine if you have multiple automation emails for multiple different products and niches?

Final words

Once you have the funnel set up, once you have the email done, go to put in the ClickFunnels URL and then simply by some clicks, that’s it!

A quick note before sending traffic to your bridge page:

  • make sure your ClickFunnels account is integrated with GetResponse, and the list is also integrated into the email automation.
  • make sure to set your GetResponse automation to publish after you’ve done creating the emails and setting up the automation flow.
